Technical info:
MADHOUSE is programmed in AMOS professional/compiler on an
Amiga 1200 with a hard disk. It is designed to run on all
machines with at least 1.5 MB free chip ram, but is it only
tested on a A1200.
It is possible to run the game from floppies, but I would
only recommend this to sadistic disk-jockeys. To make it
playable you must install it on a hard disk.
Installation on hard disk:
1. Boot Workbench.
2. Create a drawer called "Madhouse" (neglect brackets) in
where you want the game to be installed.
3. Copy all files from the two disks to the Madhouse drawer.
If you're not sure about how to do this, please refer
to your Amiga manual.
4. Add two assigns in your startup-sequence or your user-
startup. These should look like this (again, neglect
brackets):
Assign Madhouse1: "harddiskname:"Madhouse
Assign Madhouse2: "harddiskname:"Madhouse
You should change "harddiskname" to the name of your
harddisk. Examples of hard disk names: "dh0:", "dh1:",
"Work:" or "System:". If you are unsure about editing
your startup-sequence, please refer to the Amiga
manual.
5. Reset your Amiga (Ctrl+A+A) and boot up Workbench.
6. Locate the Madhouse drawer and double-click on it to
reveal its contens.
7. Double-click on the Madhouse icon and the game should
load from hard disk.

Those who pay the shareware fee will get their name and
